Xulfi, Ali Sethi elated after Britney Spears gives 'Pasoori' a shout out
Breaking all records the popular Coke Studio track of Ali Sethi and Shae Gill Pasoori has successfully made its way to Hollywood. American singer-songwriter Britney Jane Spears seems to be a fan of pleasing Punjabi cooking videos and music. The 40-year-old singer reposted him performing a dosa from Mini Kitchen Indias on Instagram. The icing on the cake she tied the gorgeous Punjabi track in the background and won all the hearts of South Asians including singer Sethi. Mini Kitchen India uses small pots to create ASMR videos of Indian food. On Sunday Spears took to her Instagram with one of her button-making videos and added the Coke Studio track to it.
The video finally reached the authors of this song and they flocked to Spears's post to document their excitement. Shocked and overwhelmed Sethi commented Oh my God what! As Zulfikar Jabbar Khan the mastermind behind Coke Studio this year commented It's good to know that our song has reached cultural places and people that have not been visited or frequented before. I love this! Indian writer and comedian Varun Grover also took to the media-sharing app sharing the video of his stories with the caption Britney Spears does a button dosa for Basuri music the kind liberal global citizens want.
Earlier last month Spears took to Instagram to announce the death of her miracle baby about a month after she revealed the news of her pregnancy with husband Sam Asgari. She said she was going through a tough time and might have had to wait to announce her pregnancy. On November 13 the Baby One More Time singer regained control of her personal life and finances when a judge ended 13 years of conservation that had become a major cause of fans and critics for a settlement that was usually intended to protect the elderly. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny said after a 30-minute hearing that no one objected to ending the court-imposed settlement.
