Gary Cole was welcomed to the NCIS team last year as Agent Alden Parker replacing veteran Agent Leroy Gibbs played by Mark Harmon as the team captain. While it took a while for Parker to accept the role many slowly but surely adapted to the big change in cast becoming more and more fond of the agent with each passing episode. Fans were also able to learn a few details about Parker's personal life in the grand finale of NCIS Season 19.

Agent Alden Parker is framed for murder in the 19th season finale but the one who was able to come to the rescue is his ex-wife Vivian Kolchak played by Teri Polo. A former FBI agent now works as a paranormal investigator. Other customers were puzzled. Before her debut in the drama, it was announced that actress Teri Polo would have a recurring guest role on NCIS. Therefore he will return for more episodes when Police Procedural returns for Season 20.

Is NCIS Agent Alden Parker Married to Star Gary Cole?

Yes, Agent Alden Parker star Gary Cole is married in real life to a woman named Michelle Knapp. They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in August 2021 so the couple is still newly married. It is reported that Michelle is an interior designer artist and model with a daughter named Gwendolyn from a previous relationship. It's unclear how Cole and Knapp met or how long they were together before their marriage. However, Knapp is not Coles's first wife as he has been married to actress Teddy Sydal for 25 years.

He appeared on many popular shows during his career including Wings L.A. Law Grays Anatomy and Happy Days. Cole had a daughter from Sydal who filed for divorce shortly before his death in 2018 at the age of 64. It was not clarified why the couple broke up just before his death. Last year was a big year for Cole because not only did he get married but he landed one of the main roles in NCIS. Despite the enormity of his recent work, the actor revealed that he did not feel any pressure in following in Harmon's footsteps. A recurring character Cole told TV Insider. Season 19 may be over but there's still plenty to come from NCIS. CBS lit up the drama of Series 20 along with the 14th season for NCIS Los Angeles and a second outing for NCIS Hawaii. The start date has not been confirmed but the new series usually starts in September of each year. NCIS is available to watch on CBS in the US and Disney+ in the UK.
