'Family Guy' Season 21 Premiere Date Revealed

Family Guy fans rejoice! The comic strip doesn't seem in danger of slowing down any time soon thanks to the huge fan base that still surrounds the show and the full support of the parent network. Fox announced the return of its animated dominance adult cartoon slate on June 6 including the 21st season of Seth MacFarlane's feature-length comedy. The popular show will return on September 25 with new episodes until 2023. Family Guy has been on the air since 1999 and is considered one of the most influential American animated series along with South Park and The Simpsons. He became a favorite with viewers for his outrageous humor and irreverent commentary on pop culture.

Details of what Family Guy Season 21 will include are scarce. However, given that the show has held the same unique identity for so long and has barely changed its formula the basics will likely remain the same. The dysfunctional Griffin family is expected to be the focus of new episodes with mad patriarch Peter voiced by MacFarlane Stewie and Brian his devoted wife Louis Alex Borstein and inexplicably battered daughter Meg Mila. Kunis's gullible son Chris Seth Green mischievous child Stewie and an incredible intellectual and pretentious talking dog. There is no indication that any of the main characters' voice actors will be leaving the cast.

In February Burstin told PopCulture.com he saw no reason to quit Family Guy as long as the writing was still fun. It's crazy, isn't it? I was 15 when we started Borstein joked when asked if he'd ever leave the show. I love these people I love that character he said of the show. As long as writers can come up with new and somewhat interesting stories. Every time I read a script I laugh out loud. So that's my metric. My metric is if I still laugh when I get the script it's still my pleasure. My pleasure to do so. Plus the show the scenes talent appears to be largely unchanged. According to Deadline Fox Entertainment President Michael Thorne confirmed that series creator and executive producer Seth MacFarlane will continue to oversee the Fox show in its 21st season. Family Guy airs Sundays on Fox at 930 p.m. EST / 830 CST.
