That is the question… Did I take a step back [acting] or did he take a step back from me? You never know as an actor in many ways star Paul Lambert began. I think the way a lot of people look at it now is changing because we have a lot of demarcation. You know it's like What are your sexual orientations? What is your ethnicity? I've always overlooked all these things because no one knows where I'm from or how old I am that was fine and now I think it's less good and people don't know where I fit in.
Matthew
went on to explain that after leaving Emmerdale for the last time he spent his
time looking after his partner's children. For a while, my partner had kids so I
was only taking care of half of them and deciding what I wanted to do. And that
was more or less after Emmerdale and all that. And then for the past four years
or so I have a nice little agency up north that lets Lee do exactly what I
wanted. Despite stepping back from his acting career Matthew went on to talk
about his new role in Midsomer Murders. He explained that during the pandemic
he's spent a lot of time doing Zoom meetings and self-recording roles. She
admitted I love all of it because I'm doing it at Home in my little world that I
absolutely love.
And that's how these [medium murders] really turned out. So my role in Midsomer Murders I'm playing a great role. I was really excited to get it and love it. John Nettles has been confirmed to return to the ITV series in a special episode. John Nettles played DCI Tom Barnaby for 14 years before stepping away from the crime drama in 2011.
