Criminal Minds "Soul Mates" Killers Explained
Here are the killers from The Soul Mates from Criminal Minds. Criminal Minds debuted in 2005 and follows an elite team of FBI agents tasked with the task of identifying and tracking down serial killers. The series became one of CBS's most popular procedural actions running for an impressive 15 seasons and ending in 2020. The show was successful enough to receive two separate shows in Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior and Beyond. Borders though both failed to connect with the masses and were quickly scrapped.Since criminal minds have circled the British Business League in search of killers they have often explored dark and disturbing themes. In fact, the original heroine Mandy Patinkin left criminal minds after season two because she couldn't stand the darkness of matter. The series featured some really annoying killers from Tim Currys Billy Flynn also known as The Prince of Darkness partly inspired by Richard Ramirez to The Reaper by C. Thomas Howell and Kat Adams produced by Aubrey Plaza.
Most serial killers by nature tend to work alone but the Criminal Minds team The Soul Mates is a rare exception. Presented in the fourth season of Soul Mates the episode begins with a lawyer named William Harris Michael Boatman being arrested by the BAU who they believe is responsible for a series of teenage kidnappings and murders. However, when the latest victim dies in custody the team concludes that he is working with a colleague. It is soon revealed that he and his next-door neighbor Stephen Ballymun George Newbern father of the bride has formed a serial murder partnership.
The Minds criminal's soulmates tactics target local teens who they kidnap and take to a local warehouse. After both took turns committing sexual assaults they would kill the victim and dispose of his body. It is noticeable that their relationship is unique even among the serial killer duo as neither of them is dominant. There are also signs that they are in love with each other having formed a bond about their mutual enjoyment of killing. Both lack empathy even though they seem to be good and good citizens and only when Stephen kidnaps Harris's daughter does he fear that his partner will cause his daughter an agonizing death. This puts an end to soulmates as Harris uses a wire when he arrives at the warehouse to rescue his daughter and Criminal Minds BAU moves in once Stephen confesses. Both have been noticed and presumably imprisoned for their crimes and while they aren't the most prolific killers in the game of criminal minds their illnesses make them unique.
