He's totally professional but also funny and supportive of Katherine's love life during her separation and divorce from Eddie. Carter seamlessly blends sweet humor with sound advice just like Gary who is one of the most likely main characters in A Million. little things. Both Shelley and Regina were assaulted at a young age by Shelley's brother Nell. Now that Shelly and Regina's dark experiences have come to light and Neil has been duly blamed they can finally begin to repair their strained relationship which will likely be revisited if Shelly appears in Season 5.

He often puts his mother and sister above himself but in the case where Danny prioritizes his own happiness, he becomes frank with Gary. By supporting Gary and his family Danny provides a representation of LGBTQ+ that can positively impact younger viewers with similar experiences. He's one of the sweetest and most selfless characters on the show which fans look forward to seeing every time he makes a surprise appearance.

Greta Strobe

Behind her optimistic exterior, Greta manages her bipolar disorder through therapy and medication. She always shares her honest opinions with Katherine but she never exaggerates when it comes to parenting. If Greta's relationship with Catherine develops she can easily move to the main cast in the next season.

Sophie Dixon

Sophie is forced to grow up quickly when her father unexpectedly dies and her mother bears baby Eddie. Sophie criticizes Eddie's guitars but eventually forgives him for the sake of her little sister Charlie. She supports her brother Danny when he goes out and forms a closer relationship with the adults on the show after their mother moves to France. Music has always been a therapeutic outlet for Sophie and songwriting helped her deal with the tragedies she faced in life. . After her music teacher tutors and attacks, her Sophies love for music and self-esteem fade away. In the end, Sophie rediscovers her own voice and creates a safe space for the other students who have been offended by Peter. As Sophie continues to evolve hopefully her role in the series will be as well.

Theo Savile

Theo may be one of the youngest characters in A Million Little Things but he's also insightful caring and affectionate. Although he is often underestimated by adults because of his age he always listens to their conversations and often deals with family dilemmas better than any adult on the show because Theo is independent like a Taurus. Right from the start, Theo learns difficult life lessons.
