Barnaby. Shakespeare Legacy History and Walking My Dog. He was also the
narrator for Devon and Cornwall on Channel 4 and remains the voice of My Unique
B&B on BBC Two. In terms of acting Nettles the last role was in 2017 when he
played Ray Penvenen in the BBC romantic drama Poldark.
Joyce Barnaby Jane Weymark
Joyce Barnaby was Toms's loving wife who left Kapustin in season 13 after deciding that Midsummer wasn't the place to live. Two years after leaving the popular series actress Jane Wymark appeared in the mini-series Joe as a character. His name is Catherine. In 2014 Wymark performed in the Medea production on National Theater Live according to his IMDb page but he has remained out of the spotlight since then. The 69-year-old is married to Paul Huson with whom she shares two children.
DS Ben Jones Jason Hughes
DS Ben Jones had worked with both Tom and John Barnaby before leaving in 2013. He continued to appear on the small screen after leaving his crimes halfway through his days appearing in Death in Paradise and Three Girls. The Welsh star was also Vince. Whitman starred in the crime series Marcella on ITV in 2018 and last year he played Max in the BBC One series The Pact and most recently he appeared in the Sky original drama Save the Cinema in January.
DS Gavin Troy Daniel Casey
DS Gavin Troy was the original owner of DCI Tom Barnaby when he started Midsomer Murders. He was in the first six seasons of the long drama before he left. Since leaving actor Daniel Casey has appeared in a number of TV series. In 2016 Casey was Tom Finlay at ITV's Coronation Street Tom Bailey at EastEnders the following year and Terry at Emmerdale in 2018.
The Midsomer Murders 5 Years of Mayhem will be an hour-long ITV documentary that will premiere before a new episode of the drama. Its been over a decade since the Nettles left after 14 years in dramas as DCI Tom Barnaby and was replaced by Neil Dudgeon as DCIs cousin John Barnaby. The two meet on this episode for the first time since the switch in 2011. Homicide 25 Years of Mayhem airs at 7 p.m. M. Sunday, May 29th on ITV.
