Season 6 of Outlander won't be coming to Netflix US in June 2022


With Outlander Season 5 on Netflix, all eyes are now on when the sixth season will arrive. Outlander season 6 won't be coming to Netflix next month. Outlander season 5 was a long time coming to Netflix. That finally happened in May. It came as a surprise to some as Netflix didn't do much for the release but all 12 episodes arrived on Tuesday, May 10.

Now eyes are on when season six will head to Netflix. The season finale aired on May 1 on STARZ. Would that mean the show would head straight to Netflix for ratings boost? Unfortunately not. We never expected to see the show make the list but it didn't stop those waiting for the Netflix release to wait for it. Now all eyes are on when the season will arrive.

When is Outlander season 6 coming to Netflix in the US?

We have another wait on our hands. As the series is a STARZ original series at least one season must be exclusive to the broadcaster. What's the point of people subscribing to STARZ if all the seasons are on Netflix? The agreement between the two companies is for two years. It takes two years after the season finale for that season to make its way to Netflix. That has been the case for the third fourth and fifth seasons so far. The first two seasons came after two years due to Chris Albrecht finding a way to manage the deal with Netflix.

So that means we're looking at May 1 2024 for the full season to arrive. As of now, there is no confirmation that it will happen. After all, we could see the deal come to an end. We know that Jeremy Hirsch now the CEO of STARZ did not like the idea of ​​the deal.
