Mayans MC star Carla Baratta appreciates that her character doesn't depend on looks


Carla Baratta returned to her role as Adelita in Mayans MCs fourth season. Adeleta leads Los Olvidados a rebel organization bent on defeating the Galindo Cartel. Throughout the Sons of Anarchy branch, Adelita goes through hell including imprisonment while pregnant and having her child from her. Baratta makes strong emotional performances as she plays Adelita and appreciates the fact that her character isnt just about physical appearance.

Adelita changes drastically throughout the series.

Mayans MC actress Carla Baratta is back for a fourth season that featured her character Adelita on a completely different path. When Adelita was first introduced the determined Los Olvidados leader was with a clear mission. The Galindo Cartel killed the Adelita family and decided to eliminate them. However things got bleaker for Adelita. She was held captive while pregnant with Angel Reyes baby and her baby was taken from her after birth. Now in season four Adelitas's experiences have changed her dramatically. I am really excited about her journey this season because it is so different from anything else we have seen from her Baratta told Collider Interviews.

In the first season she was, very calm and really realistic mission and her way. She really knew what she wanted and who she was. Now he has come to a point where we no longer know who he is. We no longer know what he wants. She is like a lost soul trying to find itself. And we will go with her on this beautiful path this season trying to get back to herself and to what we knew before that we miss so much.

Of course, AdelAdelita never relied on men for help which is something Carla Baratta loves in the Mayans Mayanaracter. While Adelita is one of Angels lAngel'sterests she is much more than her looks. When I saw the wardrobe I was going to be wearing from day one I was like Yeah! Baratta told Collider.Sometimes as Latinas we get into this stereotypical box and its very hard to get out of it. So to be shown in the American market on American TV with a character so strong not dependent on his looks that's made me fall in love with the character completely. With each season it increases The number of impressions. There was a shaved head and loose clothes and I was like Yeah!

Mayans M.C.: A Key Santo Padre Member Leaves the Charter

In Mayas M. Season 4 Episode 9 The Call of Saint Matthew Romero Chi Taza leaves the message of the Holy Father. During the Call of Saint Matthew Marcos Alvarez received an offer from Soledad and Miguel Galindo regarding the future of the new Lobos New Generation Cartel. Their plans required the Mayans to transport a lot of medicine to help them raise the capital the cartel would need. Later at the temple, Alvarez mentioned the show and announced his intention to keep the Maya off drugs. He also wants to end the Mayan war with the Sons of Anarchy angering the other members. Before Alvarez could close the topic Taza interrupted him to say he no longer saw Santo Padre as his home. As such he asks to be allowed to go to Nomad essentially making him a member of the club in general but not a specific charter. EZ Reyes encouraged Taza to leave saying he didn't want someone by his side who wasn't his heart at the club. Alvarez ends up agreeing to Taza's request and the Mayans bid
