"Mayans MC": JD Pardo points out an important difference between Jax and EZ


Mayans MC star JD Pardo can't help but compare his character EZ to Jax Teller. While both characters follow increasingly darker paths they are actually two completely different people. The Mayan MC 4 season saw EZ make one of his darkest decisions yet. However, Pardo noted an important difference between his character and Jax.

EZ Reyes made his darkest decision yet on Mayans MCs Season 4 Episode 7.

In Mayans MC Season 4 Episode 7 JD Pardos EZ character has made his toughest decision yet. The Angel and Manny struck against the Sons of Anarchy who were guarding Les Packer in the hospital. When the Reyes brothers escape Angel shoots and kill a security guard and ex Gabi Castillo gets to know EZ.

Angel and EZ Gaby are taken with them as they flee the hospital. Later when Gabe insisted on going to the police EZ shot and killed her. This has already led to fans comparing EZ to Jax. One viewer wrote on Twitter Jacks has never killed a woman he loved. It can be argued however that Jaxs violence against women was just as bad. Jax smashed the face of a sex worker named Emma on a table injected his ex-wife Wendy with drugs and killed his mother.

Despite all the comparisons EZ is a completely different character than Jax. Pardo pointed out a significant difference between the two while tweeting live on last night's episode. That's what I love about this series. Jax was born par excellence. VP lineage MC. He was protected until he wasn't. EZ had none of that. He was forced to survive and find his own path. Jax and EZ also had very different plans for their lives during their early years. At one point in Sons of Anarchy Jax tells his girlfriend Since I was five Tara all I've wanted is a Harley and a chip. Jax was born into a club property. His father was one of the first 9 founding members of the , Sons of Anarchy.

By contrast, EZ had no more different plans early in his life. EZ was once the golden boy of his town. Smart and talented he was ready to go to Stanford before he was sentenced to eight years in prison for shooting a police officer. Jax also has the distinction of his skin tone. Mayan MC reminds viewers of all the opening credit for the racism that Latinos have faced in America. EZ didn't have a chance to return to his bright future after taking some time off so he followed in Angels' footsteps and joined the club.

Will Felipe find out that EZ killed Gabe?

It looks like EZ has reached the point of no return on Mayans MC Season 4. Episode 8 promo shows EZ telling his father Philip I know who I am now. Felipe asks What did you do? No doubt Felipe will be devastated if he finds out that EZ killed Gabe. At the end of Season 3, Gabe is warned not to leave town without EZ. If something happens to you Felipe said to him I will not take it. Now Gabe has died at the hands of her son and the Reyes family looks more damned than ever. New episodes of Mayans MC Season 4 will air on Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. EST in foreign exchange.

Mayans M.C.: A Key Santo Padre Member Leaves the Charter

In Mayas M. Season 4 Episode 9 The Call of Saint Matthew Romero Chi Taza leaves the message of the Holy Father. During the Call of Saint Matthew Marcos Alvarez received an offer from Soledad and Miguel Galindo regarding the future of the new Lobos New Generation Cartel. Their plans required the Mayans to transport a lot of medicine to help them raise the capital the cartel would need. Later at the temple, Alvarez mentioned the show and announced his intention to keep the Maya off drugs. He also wants to end the Mayan war with the Sons of Anarchy angering the other members. Before Alvarez could close the topic Taza interrupted him to say he no longer saw Santo Padre as his home. As such he asks to be allowed to go to Nomad essentially making him a member of the club in general but not a specific charter. EZ Reyes encouraged Taza to leave saying he didn't want someone by his side who wasn't his heart at the club. Alvarez ends up agreeing to Taza's request and the Mayans bid
