Seth MacFarlane Reveals How The Simpsons Inspired Family Guy


There was a time when one mobile family and no other ruled prime time. The Simpsons was an almost untouchable landmark whose reach extended beyond Springfield and ruled the world with a bright yellow three-fingered fist. Everything was Ay Carumbas and prompts for shorts to eat. simpler time. Then Seth McFarlane hits the scene with a phonebook full of sounds and software to use with Family Guy mixing things up for animated TV in a whole new way. The Adventures of Peter Louis Chris and Stewie. and the other along with their dog Brian were the first major part of the Simpsons contest and weren't afraid to push the boundaries that Homer and his company had never ventured before. This was the area where show maker and star Seth MacFarlane admitted he'd never consider touring if it wasn't the best of Springfield in the first place.

In Mayas M. Season 4 Episode 9 The Call of Saint Matthew Romero Chi Taza leaves the message of the Holy Father. During the Call of Saint Matthew Marcos Alvarez received an offer from Soledad and Miguel Galindo regarding the future of the new Lobos New Generation Cartel. Their plans required the Mayans to transport a lot of medicine to help them raise the capital the cartel would need. Later at the temple, Alvarez mentioned the show and announced his intention to keep the Maya off drugs. He also wants to end the Mayan war with the Sons of Anarchy angering the other members. Before Alvarez could close the topic Taza interrupted him to say he no longer saw Santo Padre as his home. As such he asks to be allowed to go to Nomad essentially making him a member of the club in general but not a specific charter.
