Elon Musk to help Amber Heard pay $10.35m damages to Johnny Depp?
Elon Musk who is said to have helped Amber Heard complete a massive charitable pledge following her divorce from Johnny Depp may come to the rescue of the actress once again by paying $10.35 million in compensation to Johnny Depp. Fans and some social media users are speculating that Heard may seek help from the billionaire CEO of Tesla to pay the large sum. There are rumors and speculation that if Amber Heard seeks help from the head of SpaceX he will not refuse to pay Depp compensation.
Musk who initially believed he was a witness in Johnny Depp's libel trial against Amber Heard did not take a stand and wished to move forward. The ex-defamation trial ended on June 1 when a jury ruled that Heard had slandered Depp when he wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post in 2018 and alluded to his earlier allegations of domestic violence against the hacker actor. Depp was awarded $15 million in damages a maximum of $10.35 million as a result of the legal limits but had to pay Heard $2 million after she won one of his counterclaims.
Amber Heard's attorney Elaine Bredehoft confirmed Friday that the Aquaman actor cannot pay more than $10 million in compensation to Johnny Depp. Elon Musk previously walked away from the defamation trial of Johnny Depp and seemed reluctant to delve into the legal struggle between the two exes. He seemed to disappoint Heard who had high expectations of him.
