All Creatures star and junior Nicholas Ralph shares his hopes that Christopher Timothy will return to the series
Channel 5 series All Creatures Great and Small is based on the popular book series by James Alfred White and has been rebooted in 2020. In this series, Tristan Farnon played by Callum Woodhouse, and James Heriot Nicholas Ralph trained as veterinarians under the watchful eye of Siegfried Varnon Samuel West. Peter Davison and Christopher Timothy played Triston and James and Nicholas revealed his hopes for the return of the icon. And Pedro to return.
When asked if anyone from the original cast had contacted them Callum revealed I think Christopher Timothy emailed Sam West. It was after the first Christmas special saying how much he loved him it was really cool. Addressing his thoughts on Return of Legends Nicholas joked We don't know about it that's because of the production but it would be cool. The following series sees vets facing the looming war of 1939 and how they deal with the responsibilities of the building. Speaking of what fans can expect Callum explained Historically speaking was going to 1939 and that's the outbreak of war.
It is, In the end, about the siege of this small town and how they dealt with it and how the war has affected everyday life. And also on each of our characters how that affects them in very different ways Nicholas added. Since the reboot, the series has gained a lot of traction and stolen the hearts of its die-hard viewers. Callum and Nicholas mention the staggering success of the series with Callum stating These are real human stories. It is clearly framed in simpler times without the distraction of technology and really focuses on human relationships fraternal relationships and romantic relationships. So I don't think these things are really out of sight.
Nicholas continued In the end you have to be very honest because its based on real people so the relationships are 3D the characters are 3D and I think people are really interested in their stories. At the end of Season,, In the end, 2 fans were elated when James and Helen Alderson Rachel Shenton got engaged to a wedding in the new series. While the producers wanted to keep the wedding a secret photos of the actors filming scenes were leaked which appeared to indicate the couple had married. During the event actress Helen Rachel hinted at the people who leaked the photos joking Well someone who leaked photos of us is upset so that's a pity.
Executive Producer Melissa Gallant tried to save fans by joking It's 1939 its the close to war series that puts all the characters in an interesting position. Mrs. Hall and Siegfried have already gone through a war that the other characters are too young to remember. So its a really good opportunity to push them and explore the characters more given the wedding I can't say who it is. The marriage… All creatures big and small are all set to return to Channel 5 later this year.
